Getting a consistent spread is vital for New Zealand’s leading manufacturer of aerial spreader buckets.
EQM has recently provided the company with a small 24 Volt DC Right Angle Geardrive on the hopper to help spread fertiliser, seed or bait.
The large hopper is connected to a helicopter and is a popular and efficient way of spreading fertilizer across farms.
The 24V DC Geardrive is used to agitate the mixer in the bucket, stopping it from bridging in the hopper.
Tim Bloxham says the geardrive setup is perfect as it is lightweight, efficient and reliable.
